The latest episode of the Innova802 tech podcast, sponsored by the VTTA, features a discussion with Doug Merrill, who is leading Vermont’s EDA designated Tech Hub, focused on the development of Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductor technology, known as the V-GaN Tech Hub. The tech hub is Consortium with UVM, GlobalFoundries,  the State of Vermont and regional businesses and partners.

Doug joined the Innova802 team in August to explain the technology and its benefits, and the project’s progress, opportunities for funding, and its potential impact to the regional economy.  From a rural development perspective, the project could provide technology-based manufacturing and research benefits statewide.
