The Item Catalog Data Specialist plays a critical role in the ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive catalog of packages and brands that VIP has created for the Beverage Industry.  This entry-level position is responsible for monitoring a group of assigned accounts (beverage suppliers & distributors), and assist them in adding content to the Item Catalog that meets a set of data quality rules. Position Type: Full Time, Hybrid - will be required to report to our office in Colchester, VT Primary Responsibilities:
  • Validate and ensure data quality and accuracy on an ongoing basis
  • Populate and maintain individual items, brands, and their attributes within the item catalog based on a set of established business rules
  • Monitor incoming data requests and assist customers in uploading and downloading data from the catalog
  • Assist in documenting data creation and maintenance procedures
Requirements:
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize work
  • Speed and proficiency on a standard keyboard
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and others inside the company to solve problems
  • Ability to work independently
  • Exposure to Excel and related business applications
  • Ability to learn and become proficient with unfamiliar systems

The role of Data Quality Analyst is integral in our rapidly growing company.  This is an excellent opportunity for intelligent, outgoing, and motivated self-starters seeking rapid professional development and acquisition of new business skills.  Your primary responsibilities will be working closely with internal and external users to maintain the quality of VIP’s master retailer database and aligning customer sales data to that retailer universe.  As this data is central to the operation of our clients’ businesses, you will need to bring a high level of attention to detail and willingness to find solutions to problems in a systematic and efficient way. Ideal candidates for this entry-level position will understand the importance of building and maintaining relationships with our customers.  Successful candidates must also work well both individually as well as part of a team to accomplish shared goals. VIP is seeking a Software Implementation Specialist to join our fast growing Pricing Team. This group works with our supplier customers to install and support our Price 2.0 application, which allows the supplier to manage and plan pricing and promotions for their distributor partners. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can handle multiple projects at once and be committed to building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. The successful candidate will be a fast learner, strong communicator, have excellent technical diagnostic skills, and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Position Type: Full Time, Hybrid - will be required to report to our office in Colchester, VT Primary Responsibilities:
  • Implement, train and support customers on the VIP Price 2.0 application.
  • Manage the implementation of Price 2.0, following a project plan and hitting key milestones for a successful implementation.
  • Work directly with customers by phone, electronically and in person.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, steps taken towards problem resolution and follow up communication.

We are seeking a Data Collections Specialist to join our SRS Team.  Our Supplier Services business is focused on moving data between distributors and suppliers in the beverage industry. This data is a driving force in marketing and supply chain planning and is vital to the business practices of our customers. This entry-level position is well-suited to an inquisitive self-starter willing to ask questions and work with little direct supervision. The Data Collections Specialist is responsible for monitoring a set of assigned distributor accounts to ensure the prompt and accurate reporting of data based on supplier guidelines. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with an assigned group of distributor customers
  • Managing the daily data processing for those assigned distributors
  • Cross referencing that data against supplier data to ensure accuracy, clarity and continuity
  • Resolving discrepancies that arise with distributor data
  • Establishing reporting of distributor data for new suppliers & making changes, as required, to existing supplier reporting
