VIP is looking for a Software Support Specialist for mid-shift coverage to join our RAS (Route Accounting System) Customer Support Team. The successful Software Support Specialist must enjoy working with others, be a fast learner, have excellent technical diagnostic skills, and enjoy a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can handle multiple tasks and be committed to customer satisfaction. Knowledge of the distribution industry is a plus.
Position Type: Full Time, Hybrid - will be required to report to our office in Colchester, VT
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers by email or phone
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle and resolve customer complaints
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
- Serve as liaison between the customer and various internal departments
- Record details of inquiries, comments, complaints, transactions as well as actions taken towards resolution
- Follow up on customer communications and interactions
- Excellent communication skills - verbal & written
- Strong ability to analyze and solve problems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Detail oriented and ability to maintain data confidentiality
- Reliable & dependable
- Ability to multitask under pressure
- College degree and at least one year of customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to work the mid-shift. Preferably 11:00AM - 8:00PM

Our software may not be able to tell us what drinks you have in your fridge at home, it knows all of the stores near you that sell your favorite beverages! Our solutions help beverage professionals run their businesses and are used by brand owners like Anheuser Busch, Gallo, Monster Energy and 100,000 other tasty brands! At VIP, our customers are our friends. The Software Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing meaningful relationships with our customers by maintaining and encouraging trust and loyalty. Our sales process begins with education, requiring this role to demonstrate our software products and understand the customer's needs thoroughly in order to make the right promise. Ideal candidates for this position will be energetic, positive, and organized professionals who are able to effectively create relationships within the beverage market. VIP’s Pricing Team is seeking a Junior Software Engineer (SE1) with a passion for creating user-friendly applications. The ideal candidate will take great pride in their work and be willing to rethink and suggest improvements for current applications as well as contribute to the development of new projects. This person must be comfortable working closely with a small team and have the flexibility to work on clearly-defined as well as abstract tasks to achieve a shared goal.
The successful candidate will have practical programming experience, knowledge of programming best practices, and have the ability to work in a high energy environment. As a Software Engineer you will work in a team to improve the features and stability of existing applications. You will be assigned programming changes identified by our customers and can include enhancements, fixes to bugs, customization of software or interface development (data extracts).

The VIP Accounting Department has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Administrator. We are seeking a seasoned professional with a working knowledge of in managing Accounts Receivable. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly organized and have the ability to learn quickly and work independently. The Accounts Receivable Administrator must also have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cash management duties, such as processing and recording of bank deposits
- Monitor customers with past due balances and contact them via telephone, email, and mail to resolve outstanding balances while strengthening and growing your relationship with them.
- Respond to customer inquiries and invoice requests
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ payment concerns
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
- Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement
- Additional accounting/administrative tasks as assigned
- 2+ years of work experience in Accounts Receivable
- Hands-on experience with Excel
- Proficiency with Google Drive
- Familiar with NACHA rules and guidelines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong data analysis skills

VIP is seeking a qualified Sales Team Manager, to oversee and lead the activities of our various sales departments. This position will be based in our Colchester, VT office and require travel to various customer locations around the US, roughly 50% of the time. We are looking for an individual with proven leadership experience who's excited to join a growing organization that provides the best in beverage software solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direct management to a team of 15 - 20 sales people, consisting of sales representatives, account managers and marketing specialists
- Develop a deep understanding of products, helping ensure quota attainment
- Travel up to 50% of time to develop and maintain close working relationships with the marketplace
- Set and achieve sales quotas that match strategic initiatives of the company
- Define standards and tailor sales operations to meet the needs of customers, company and external partners
