QUALIFICATIONS
Desired skills and experience:

Embedded software in C or C++ or an RTOS such as VxWorks or RTEMS.

Multithreaded applications including testing and debugging in C++/C on Linux or Unix environments.

One or more assembly languages a plus
-
Familiarity with interfacing electronics (busses, bus loading, GPIO, tristate ports, I2C, SPI, USB)
-
Programming microcontrollers (Atmega, STM32, Raspberry Pi, TINI)
-
Debugging prototype hardware. Comfortable with logic analyzer, oscilloscope, bus analyzers
-
Linux
-
Working with customers to develop product requirements
-
Working with cross-disciplinary teams to specify and deliver products.
Requirements:

Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical people
-
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a small team
-
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States. (We do not sponsor employment visas)

Background in some or all of software design, mechanical design, electrical design, optical design.
Electrical Engineer

Demonstrated success with complex designs that were rapidly developed is a plus. The position open to both junior and senior level applicants.

Demonstrated success with complex designs that were rapidly developed is a plus. This position will assist in the development of advanced optical display and imaging systems. Proficiency in optical modeling software (ZEMAX, LightTrans, Oslo etc)

Proficiency in RCWA technique using custom code

Laboratory and optics bench techniques including using microscopy & lasers

Design of systems using LEDs, lasers and imaging across the entire optical spectrum

Extensive LEDs, lasers, imaging systems, involving the entire optical spectrum

Managing and/or generating optical simulations and models

Providing a range of support with optics expertise to the product development team

Developing, reviewing, and providing input to technical documents (Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), System Requirements, Interface Control, System Specifications, User’s Manuals, internal datasheets, and references).
