We’re growing and looking for a part-time UX/UI Designer to join our team! Responsibilities include:
  • Contribute to the design phase of website and app development
  • Express a client’s brand through color, typography, and other visual design elements
  • Create design systems and visual assets for internal projects
  • Research, sketch, and test ideas that address the needs and pain points of our clients’ user base
  • Translate research, requirements, and constraints into deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • Identify areas of design improvement for existing client sites
  • Collaborate with the development team to bring designs to life

Qualifications

Strong candidates will have:

  • 2+ years of professional design experience
  • Demonstrated design thinking and user-centered design
  • Strong knowledge of UI design principles including color theory, typography, layout design, and usability heuristics
  • An understanding of development constraints
  • Attention to consistency across design elements
  • Advanced use of design tools such as Figma, XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of accessibility in all aspects of design

Ideally, we’d also love candidates with:

  • Experience designing for mobile and tablet
  • Experience with game design and development
