Emotional Intelligence and Workplace Success
September 26 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Plan to join the Vermont Technology Alliance for a free “Lunch & Learn” webinar presented by Peter Anderson of Inner Citadel Consulting discussing Emotional Intelligence and Workplace Success.
In this interactive presentation, Peter will talk about how emotional intelligence and empathy can help teams and workplaces develop stronger cultures of “emotional compensation,” more effective and productive work habits, and better overall workplace health.
Chronic stress, high levels of anxiety, and burnout are some of the most significant challenges workplaces are facing right now. And employees are disengaging or looking for change. In 2023 Gallup calculated $8.9 trillion lost globally to disengagement alone and 52% of employees in the US are watching for or actively seeking a new job.
But some specific skills and practices can boost engagement, build more cohesive teams, and help workplaces move from “surviving” to “thriving”. We’ll experience the Emotional Culture Index, learn some interesting things about the brain, and walk away with some serious skills to make your work-life less stressful, more productive, and happier.
