POSITION SUMMARY:  The successful Territory Sales Manager at Concepts NREC will have a strong background in technical sales within the CAE, CFD and CAM Engineering sector and strong knowledge of the turbomachinery markets in Japan. They will be responsible for identifying business growth opportunities and driving profitable sales for our targeted business segments.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Conducting all sales and support activities in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, the marketing team, product managers, and regional Channel Partner.
  • Regularly meeting with existing customers and prospects to identify new opportunities and strengthen relationships
  • Identifying sales prospects and developing a sales strategy for each Sales Opportunity in collaboration with regional Channel Partner.
  • Conducting market research within the territory to identify new applications and growing markets
  • Preparing product/pricing proposals, working with prospects, and assisting in negotiating with customers to close sales.
  • Obtaining and preparing documentation as required to book Sales Orders.
  • Meeting quarterly and annual sales goals as measured through bookings, revenue and net income.
  • Reporting regularly (verbal and written) on activities, results and forecasting from within the territory.
  • Updating and utilizing CRM tool to track and organize sales activities and opportunity stages.
  • Organizing technical events for customers in the territory in collaboration with the marketing team, Channel Sales Manager, and regional Channel Partner.
  • Assisting with payments and accounts receivables from the customer base within the region.
  • Interacting with management, other internal CN departments, sales staff, and outside vendors as needed to achieve objectives as a key member of the CN sales management team.
  • Various other sales related tasks as assigned.

 

Education and Experience

  • A four-year degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering or related technical field.
  • Five years of relevant sales or sales support experience for CAE, CFD and/or CAM products.
  • A strong background or understanding of technical sales and/or services for the turbomachinery industry is desirable.
  • Direct exposure to the design and manufacturing of pumps, compressors, turbines, or gas turbine engines or parts is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with Multinational Companies and understanding of documentation required in the ordering process

Other Considerations

  • Frequent travel visiting customers and as needed visits to the office will be required
  • Base pay plus commission based on sales performance
  • Ability to work remotely, PC and basic equipment shall be provided
  • Reimbursement for work-related travel

Basic Qualifications
