You’ll be embedded with a client anticipating frontend/UX/Unity work as the primary bottleneck

for new product development.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll create beautiful, responsive web experiences while

integrating Unity 3D games and building the component libraries that accelerate development

across an expanding game portfolio.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first few months, you’ll:

Build responsive gaming interfaces using React/TypeScript that work seamlessly across

mobile, tablet, and desktop

Integrate Unity WebGL games into React applications, handling canvas elements and

real-time game data

Create reusable UI component libraries using modern tools like Shadcn/ui and Tailwind

CSS

Develop poker training interfaces that make learning engaging and accessible to players

Collaborate with Technical Artists to ensure Unity assets integrate smoothly with web UI

Build WPT Home features including cross-game social functionality, chatrooms, and

group invitations

Optimize performance for gaming-specific requirements like 60fps animations and

real-time updates●

Support multiple product teams working on revenue-focused games and

training/educational products

Must Have:

React ecosystem expertise – Modern practices with hooks, useEffect, TypeScript, and

component lifecycles

Unity 3D & WebGL experience – Have built, shipped, and launched Unity applications for

web deployment

Game development background – Understanding of performance optimization, frame

rates, and gaming UI patterns

Responsive design mastery – CSS expertise, Tailwind experience, mobile-first

development approach

Published game experience – Unity apps deployed to app stores and mobile web

experiences

Performance debugging – Can identify and solve gaming-specific frontend performance

issues

Independent problem-solving – Ben is our template: takes ownership, researches

solutions, communicates proactively

Good to Have:

Next.js familiarity for meta framework experience

State management – TanStack Query, Zustand, or Redux for complex application state

Component library experience – Shadcn/ui, building and maintaining design systems

Canvas and WebGL integration – Handling iframes, canvases, and videos within React

applications

Gaming industry experience – Understanding poker/casino UI conventions and player

expectations

Mobile gaming optimization – Experience with touch interactions and mobile-specific

game features

API integration – Working with real-time gaming data and backend services

You’ll spend your time:

Building gaming platform interfaces that serve as the “front door” for poker and other

games

Integrating Unity WebGL builds into responsive web applications

Creating component libraries that accelerate development across multiple gaming

products

Developing training product UIs that make poker learning engaging and effective●

Optimizing for performance ensuring smooth experiences across all devices and

platforms

teams

Collaborating cross-functionally with Unity developers, backend engineers, and product

What Sets You Apart

You understand gaming constraints – frame rates, performance, and user experience

matter in gaming

You’re versatile and self-directed – can research solutions independently and take full

ownership of features

You bridge worlds effectively – comfortable working with both web technologies and

game engines

You’re a strong communicator – proactively reach out for help and collaborate across

disciplines

You have a platform mindset – building reusable components that enable other

developers to move faster

You’re energized by gaming – understand what makes gaming interfaces engaging and

performant

How to Apply

If you’re ready to build the frontend experiences that power the next generation of gaming

platforms—apply now. Please include links to Unity WebGL projects you’ve shipped, gaming

interfaces you’ve built, or component libraries you’ve created that demonstrate your frontend +
