As a PMO Solution Consultant at Echo Consulting, you will be designing and implementing Project Management Offices assuring project management best practices and standards are set to build the foundation for the organization to standardize the intake, prioritization, and execution of projects. As an expert in PMO best practices, you will work closely with clients and assist in developing standards and processes for intake, prioritization, execution, and tracking of projects, as well as resource and budget management processes, to support peak efficiency and ROI (Return on Investment).

Your role will play a vital part in empowering organizations to choose the highest impact projects through enabling portfolio views allowing for cross-functional project analysis, resource planning and prioritization, standardized project execution and tracking as well as enterprise level reporting and strategic decision-making. You will play a crucial role in leading the design, configuration as well as ushering the client through the change process to assure successful implementation.

Requirements

  • Establish trust and strong working relationships with all client stakeholders from C-Suite to individual project team members. Identifying key champions and detractors and developing a stakeholder management plan to ensure a successful PMO roll-out and minimize risk

  • Manage multiple clients and PMO implementations concurrently while providing a tailored high touch approach to client and team management

  • Provide multi-phased PMO roadmaps that identify future opportunities while prioritizing highest value changes first

  • Align the PMO solution design and implementation to the strategic goals and objectives of the organization – focusing on PMO Value and maximizing ROI in short and long term

  • Analyze the current system challenges and opportunities and take an ecosystem approach to develop strategic recommendations for a tailored PMO solution design and implementation

  • Design, plan, guide, and monitor PMO implementation from discovery, design, solution configuration, change implementation, and adoption

  • Ensure technical feasibility of solution throughout design, testing, and adoption activities – including integration with existing systems and potential data architecture approaches

  • Wow stakeholders and clients with exceptional support and collaborative approach to design and implementation

  • Collaborate with team and key stakeholders to predict and identify any potential risks for implementation as well as developing and executing mitigation plans to respond proactively to manage risks

  • Communicate timeline, key deliverables, and progress to stakeholders and clients.

  • Identify ways to increase adoption, client satisfaction, and process improvement.

  • Host workshops and training sessions to coach, mentor, and motivate team members to build Champions within

  • Provide outstanding customer service and resolve client issues throughout the implementation process
