The Tech Group is seeking a skilled office administrator to join our team! The role of the Office Admin will perform various functions and tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office, in addition to day to day accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Day to day bookkeeping tasks including AR and collections, while also handling the mail and shipping, coordinating office activities and controlling office stock levels, and back up the front desk as needed answering phones and greeting visitors. Additionally, this role provides all record-keeping, file maintenance and correspondence.


Accounting Support Responsibilities

  • Receives and deposits checks
  • Supports aspects of shipping and receiving
  • Communicates with clients regarding their accounts to collect in accordance with payment terms
  • Collaborate with others in the finance department to ensure all financial actions are accurate
  • All necessary administrative and clerical functions to support the accounting department

Administrative Duties

  • Office supply Ordering
  • Mail processing
  • Maintain files, prepare correspondence
  • Phone and Reception Backup Coverage
  • Performs data entry and record keeping
  • Provides administrative support to the President as needed
  • Assist President with PowerPoint presentations
  • Primary point of contact for office Facilities management including site issues, supplies and support services (copiers, etc)
  • Other office duties as assigned

Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in an office support position
  • 2+ years of experience in professional services or client services industry
  • Bookkeeping knowledge required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, intermediate Excel knowledge/usage, PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Attention to details and commitment to quality
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments with critical deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
