Systems & Software is seeking a Network and Systems Team Lead to join our team! We are seeking candidates with cloud, networking and operating system experience.

What will be your impact:

Working with sales and management teams on pre-sales scoping, licensing, cost evaluation, and determination

Work with R&D development managers to schedule technical resources

Work with customer business and technical users for quote discussions, implementations and troubleshooting efforts

Assist with cloud and on-premise system design, provisioning, network topology design and maintenance

Assist team with monitoring internal and customer system health

Tier 2/3 technical support for internal and external customers (after hours support rotation required)

Assisting with the diagnosis and resolution of operating system issues (performance problems, configuration issues, etc.)

Leading and mentoring more junior team members

Triaging and assigning issues as well as ensuring the backlog is kept manageable

Creating and maintaining technical documentation

Implementing continuous improvement through automation

Understanding and streamlining processes

Support strategic improvement projects

Educating users

What we are looking for:

At least 5 years of experience/familiarity with the following Operating Systems:
Linux (Oracle, RHEL, CentOS)
Windows Server OS

Experience/familiarity with the following infrastructure:

Virtualization/ContainersIaaS Cloud (Oracle, AWS, Azure, etc.)
VMware (vSphere / ESXi) Docker

Experience/familiarity with the following:
Dell Servers
Compellent/EqualLogic SANs
Fortinet Fortigate firewall/VPN, switches

Experience with Cloud Hosting/Architecture (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.)

A bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information science, information systems, or related field OR equivalent work experience in a systems admin role

What will make you stand out:

Relevant certifications are desirable, e.g., Red Hat Certified Engineer

Experience with the following would be a plus:
Automation
Ansible
Bash Scripting/Systems programming
Programming Python
Cloud vendor SDKs
