VIP is seeking a friendly and charismatic Inbound Sales Representative to join our Supplier Sales Team! This position will handle all of the administrative aspects of converting inbound leads to customers, which includes analyzing and responding to incoming leads, identifying suitable solutions and looping in the appropriate sales representatives. The successful candidate will be skilled at building new business relationships, adept at listening to and understanding the customer’s needs, and highly organized to ensure successful follow through. Position Type: Full Time, Hybrid. This position will report to our office headquarters in Colchester, VT.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive experience for new customers reaching out to inquire about VIP’s services
  • Follow a proven sales processes to engage with prospects and close sales while providing personable service
  • Answer calls, respond to emails, and manage prospect information using HubSpot
  • Book calls with new prospects, review the appropriate video demonstrations, and provide additional ad hoc demonstrations as needed
  • Identify clients with additional needs beyond emerging brands and bring in the appropriate sales reps as needed
  • Effectively manage a pipeline by ensuring timely follow-up with leads that haven’t closed to mitigate loss of opportunity

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in developing a thorough understanding of VIP’s products, industry, and services
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
