The Senior Financial Analyst within the Sales Finance Office is an essential role dedicated to the development and implementation of comprehensive sales reporting for Cox Automotive (Dealer.com). Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position requires strategic insight and robust analytical capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and maintaining detailed reports and analyses pertinent to sales and performance management across Cox Automotive.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough sales analytics and generate sales metrics reports.
  • Maintain and enhance Sales Performance Reporting frameworks.
  • Assist in sales team forecasting activities.
  • Produce daily pipeline coverage reports for Cox Automotive brands.
  • Contribute to the preparation of presentations for monthly pipeline review meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Business Office to refine pipeline reporting processes.
  • Support the Sales Finance team with process insights and recommendations.
  • Provide financial analysis and ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Analyze extensive datasets to extract critical insights.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key business partners.
  • Assist in the development of management presentations for an executive audience.
  • Propose enhancements to financial systems and tools for greater efficiency.
  • Identify areas for efficiency improvement and assist with data automation advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience. A candidate may also have a Master’s Degree wth 2+ years of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 8+ years of experience.
  • A self-motivated and resourceful individual with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
  • The ability to exercise independent judgment in the interpretation of financial data.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including logical and reference formulas, financial functions, pivot tables, and best practices in financial model design and charting.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands in a deadline-driven environment.
