Provide biostatistical data management support/assistance for the clinical research programs in infectious diseases, vaccine studies, immunology and international field studies of the Vaccine Testing Center (VTC) in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. Develop and maintain data management systems for VTC clinical research programs. Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions to assure data quality. Prepare reports identifying key statistical questions and methods, and contribute to manuscript and grant writing.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)        

Bachelor’s degree in statistical, analytic, or scientific field with one to two years related experience. Familiarity with biostatistics and standard concepts, practices, and procedures within clinical research. Proficiency with statistical software applications. Effective interpersonal skills and organizational skills. Ability to work in a dynamic unit with often competing and time-sensitive demands. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Evidence of multi-cultural competency necessary. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
