The CTMS Trainer and Coordinator at the University of Vermont is responsible for organizing and prioritizing all CTMS research activities. The primary focus is on developing, documenting, managing, and delivering end-user training activities, and owning all Tier 1 support by serving as the first point of contact for CTMS inquiries. This position is responsible for managing collaborative efforts with all stakeholders, including the UVM IRB (CLICK) team, UVM Health Network Epic research teams, and service providers. In addition to these core responsibilities, the CTMS Trainer and Coordinator will actively monitor system integrations, track user performance metrics, and ensure regulatory and institutional compliance.

 

This position will play a critical role in fostering a culture of excellence in the research community. It will report directly to the LCOM Chief Information Officer and work closely with the CTMS Project Administrator.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience in data management and training or user support required. Ability to work collaboratively with research Investigators, research teams, and other university and health network technical and research staff. Effective written and verbal communication skills required. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, data bases and related computer applications required.

Desirable Qualifications

Prior teaching, training, or presentation experience highly desirable.

Experience with Oncore CTMS and/or clinical research is highly desirable.
