The University of Vermont is seeking to hire a Business Operations Manager.
Oversee, manage and perform administrative/business operations for the Instrumentation and Technical Services (ITS) department. Oversee and implement financial systems including provide analysis, budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax reporting, forecasting and financial reporting functions. Provide human resource management including position posting, recruitment, onboarding, compliance management and administering related organizational processes. Leading a performance excellence team and overseeing staff who monitor and manage the HEMS Best Practice Equipment Management system.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree with course work in both financial management and information systems and two to four years’ related experience required.
Effective customer service, communication, supervisory and computer skills required.
Background check is required.
Desirable Qualifications
PeopleSoft, PeopleAdmin, Axiom and MS Office skills desirable.
