The vtTA has more than 200 members from throughout the state – ranging from individual entrepreneurs to large companies – that make up Vermont’s technology ecosystem, including software, IT, manufacturing, telecommunications, web development and design. It also includes businesses and organizations that work with or support Vermont’s tech industry.

Advocacy
for programs and public policy that support Vermont’s technology-focused businesses and jobs. We are a recognized resource for information on Vermont’s tech sector and advocate for policies and programs that support the success and growth of Vermont’s tech businesses.
Recruiting – Career Center
to attract a tech workforce to the state by raising awareness of the businesses and opportunities in Vermont. A key resource is our Career Center, which lists job opportunities of vtTA members, at no charge, year-round. The Career Center is visited by thousands of candidates throughout the U.S exploring career opportunities in Vermont.
Collaboration and Outreach
with government, businesses, non-profit organizations, higher education institutions and others to strengthen and grow Vermont’s tech sector.
Events and Networking
creating opportunities for the tech community and supporters to connect, learn and find contacts, business opportunities, customers and potential new employees. Examples include our “Let’s Tech Together” sessions, VTTA Tech Conference, the Vermont Tech Jam, and events in partnership with other organizations. We also offer exclusive sponsorship opportunities and discounts for events, conferences and training.
Communication
through the news media, our website, monthly newsletter, and social media, reaching a tech-focused audience in Vermont and beyond. Our LinkedIn group has more than 1800 members from across the U.S.
