MDS-Rely unites faculty, students, government experts, and industry innovators to apply advanced data-science methods—such as machine learning and statistical modeling—to understand and predict how materials degrade and fail over time. This interdisciplinary collaboration is transforming how industries like energy, transportation, electronics, and defense design for greater reliability, durability, and cost-effectiveness in extreme environments.
