The Senior Financial Analyst at Dealer.com will be an integral part of a successful team, providing essential support in reporting, budget and forecasting activities, long-range planning, and ad hoc financial analysis for the Consumer Disposal business. This role specifically focuses on Instant Cash Offer (ICO) and Private Seller Direct Offer (PSDO).
Key Responsibilities:
· Finance Leadership: Serve as the finance lead supporting the Consumer Solution’s Senior Director of Strategic Planning including all financial support for the ICO and PSDO business lines.
· Financial Analysis: Analyze month-end results, drive forecast development, and identify and quantify risks and opportunities.
· Collaborative Reporting: Partner with business leads and matrix partners to ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysis for all ad hoc requests.
· Business Case Development: Create business cases to support leadership decisions on initiatives and investments.
· Performance Improvement: Provide financial and operational insights through analysis to help manage and enhance team performance.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field with 4+ years of work experience in a financial environment. A candidate may also have a Master’s Degree with 2+ years of experience. A non-degree candidate will have 8+ years of experience.
· Strong analytical ability with track record of delivered results
· Solid analytical and research capabilities required
· Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and work under tight deadlines and experienced in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating one’s own work
· Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities, or projects
· Advanced MS Excel skills required, including formulas, financial functions, pivot tables, design, and formatting for executive presentations
· Experience with OneStream Enterprise Financial system is a strong plus.
· Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
