Supervise the talent acquisition function for Howard Center through the design and implementation of recruiting strategies that support agency mission and objectives. This position also oversees Agency job descriptions, the onboarding process and data collection and reporting under Talent Acquisition. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, recommends and implements recruitment strategies focused on attracting, recruiting and retaining diverse and talented staff
  • Supervises recruiters and manages assignments, activity, and results for all stages of the recruitment process, in support of the Agency’s mission and objectives   
  • Conducts orientation and trainings for staff and supervisors to improve recruitment and retention practices
  • Recommends and develops systems to track and evaluate effectiveness of recruitment strategies
  • Participates in the planning and execution of diversity outreach and recruitment programs

Requirements:

  • Three years relevant recruitment, and training and/or human resources experience
  • Supervisory experience in a related area
  • Experience managing project teams
  • Experience using social media and marketing/branding to implement recruitment strategies
