JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of data engineering solutions and applications. Coordinating analysis that ensures the development of business and operations insights, recommendations that address business objectives, and a strategic understanding of data collected. May introduce new technologies and systems to support new and changing business requirements. Provide data analytics, visualizations, and technical leadership for group.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Utilizes reporting tools like Tableau and Power BI to design dashboards and produce reports summarizing Key Performance Indicators for executive-level and operational reporting.
  • Mastery of reporting platforms and/or tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker, SSRS)
  • Develops analytical frameworks and roadmaps to provide actionable recommendations for front-end reporting to various teams and departments.
  • Creates scalable reporting solutions and automation procedures to support enterprise-wide distributions on all data platforms.
  • Leads, mentors and trains peers in reporting and data visualization best practices to create a team of best-in-class reporting engineers.
  • Presents and communicates final analysis to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Supports critical business processes and offers necessary guidance.
  • Extensive Experience with SQL
  • Keeps abreast of strategies, trends, initiatives, and best practices within the Company and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to progress multiple projects in parallel.
  • Knowledge of workflow and automation tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau Prep)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration
  • Ability to work effectively across functions, disciplines and levels.
  • Ability to provide hands-on analytical support and be involved in day-to-day activities of the team.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
