VIP (Vermont Information Processing) is seeking a Software Support Specialist for Overnight Shift coverage (preferably 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM) The successful candidate will be able to work independently, be a fast learner, have excellent technical diagnostic skills, and enjoy a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can handle multiple tasks and be committed to customer satisfaction. Knowledge of the distribution industry is a plus. This position will have the option to work primarily from home once trained.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers by email or phone
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle and resolve customer complaints
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
- Serve as liaison between the customer and various internal departments
- Record details of inquiries, comments, complaints, transactions as well as actions taken towards resolution
- Follow up on customer communications and interactions

- College degree and at least one year of customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to work the evening shift. Preferably 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM
