Slate Enrollment Program Manager

Reporting to the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management (VPEM) at the University of Vermont and serving as a core member of the Division of Enrollment Management (DEM) leadership team, responsible for leading and managing an integrated operations unit to support undergraduate and graduate admissions, student financial services, office of the registrar and orientation and student advancement. Within undergraduate and graduate admissions this includes managing the receipt and processing of student records, applications and supporting documents, and loading inquiry and prospect leads. Management, maintenance, and creation of portals, communication templates, and forms will be required for all functional DEM units and organizing the automations of data flow to/from other enterprise systems and training across functional Slate users in DEM and the Graduate College.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)         

Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, business administration or related field and four years’ of related experience to include data analysis and a systems background. Expert level Slate administration experience required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Teams and Drupal or other website content management software. Experience with Banner or other student information systems. Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required. Strong organizational and analytical skills required. Demonstrated ability to think critically, plan effectively, and problem solve required. Ability to apply judgment effectively in prioritizing multiple projects/tasks that may be time-sensitive and/or highly confidential.

 

Desirable Qualifications              

Experience effectively working with senior leadership, faculty, staff and students highly desirable.
