Dealer.com is looking for a Senior OEM Advertising Strategist

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage relationship with OEM clients providing digital advertising expertise, on both industry and CAI best practices.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure execution of OEM T2 advertising programs, ensuring performance aligns with client objectives and our best practices.
  • Own OEM direct investment, ensuring execution and ongoing optimization to ensure all buys perform to meet or exceed client goals.
  • Provide internal stakeholders and client partners reporting and insights on their T3 program performance and any direct investment. Proactively engage the client, driving the performance story and guiding the client through recommendations.
  • Support alignment between Sales, Program, and Account teams on tactics and strategies.
  • Create professional, client-facing materials to support program and campaign performance storytelling and support new opportunity strategic development.
  • Partner with platform experts to ensure client goals and requirements are implemented properly.
  • Partner with OEM Sales to review opportunities, refining strategy to drive best results for client.
  • Strive for continuous improvement, contributing to improving best practices, operational efficiencies, and advertising performance.
  • Contribute to advertising operations processes, to ensure efficient and scalable solutions to manage our work.
  • Initialize and develop program level strategies to maximize adoption, improve investment, and mitigate churn.
  • Contribute to research and development of trends and strategies related to the latest digital advertising trends, products, and “best practices”, with the goal of driving maximum value to dealers’ strategies and performance.
  • Evaluate and share latest industry developments across all channels, distilling to Digital Marketing best practices and tactics to drive great results for our clients.
  • Participate in rollout of new products and processes across Dealer Marketing to ensure all are executed to their fullest.
  • Own client issues, tracking and driving to resolution even when outside direct responsibility.
  • Contribute to key support initiatives and improvements assigned by leadership.
  • Develop and maintain an advanced working knowledge of all related products and services.
  • Work on various projects assigned by management.
  • Communicate clearly, strongly, and effectively to small and large groups using existing platforms and channels while considering new innovative ways to disseminate information.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience required.
  • 4+ years progressive and relevant work experience (digital marketing) in client facing roles.

Preferred:

  • Advanced experience in and a wide variety of digital marketing channels (SEM, Video, Social, Display).
  • Experience in several disciplines, including but not limited to project management, client and performance reporting, media planning, providing amazing client service.
  • Experience presenting complex concepts to client executives in an understandable manner.
  • High degree of analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve stressful customer situations.
  • Enthusiasm for product knowledge acquisition.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM software.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • 0-15% Travel
  • Off-hours, on-call support may apply
