Senior Manager, Sales Tools

Cox Automotive ( is currently looking for a Sr. Manager, Sales Tools to join our team in Atlanta or remote.


Your primary responsibility is to lead team(s) focused on sales specific usage and the overall experience with CAI Sales Tools and key reporting platforms.  More specifically, you will drive seller experience via sales tool technology in the following ways:

Ensure is configured, appropriately operating and is being utilized to enable best in class sales journeys and overall CRM methodologies for all CAI sales team members and leaders.

Deliver world class reporting capability and leading-edge functionality across all CAI Sales tools; from daily execution of enhancements and outage support to driving 3rd party vendors/partners to innovate tools based on CAI sales requirements.

This individual will report to the Director of Sales Operations


  • Direct team leads to inform and execute on enhancement and overall sustainability of, PowerBI, AWS reporting and various sales enablement tools (SF Maps, Altify, BombBomb, etc.)
  • Drive enhancements to CAI Sales Tools to enable optimal seller experience and while improving operational efficiencies need to support associated tools
  • Act as platform SME to ensure success in Unification Program and/or other initiatives centered on simplification of CRM instances
  • Ensure external resources are properly engaged to scale AWS data/reporting solutions (i.e. CASE/ISSE) across CAI Sales Teams
  • Partner closely with Tools Strategy and other teams as necessary to create one vision for how technology converges to enable the seller experience
  • Deliver prioritization of, AWS, PowerBI and sales tool enhancements to CAI IT Teams; directly partner with IT teams to manage escalations and delivery to requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Sales, the SBO and other partner teams
  • Drive proactive focus on daily usability of and associated reporting
  • Leverage ticketing system(s) to enable tracking and monitoring of SLAs, capacity and throughput of teams focused on sustainability of sales tools
  • Streamline and reporting optimization process via focus on prototyping and user acceptance testing
  • Coach frontline Managers in leadership, technical and overall professional development
  • Develop team members’ working knowledge of relevant sales tools and processes

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in a sales operations role, and 3 years of leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • 5+ years experience required
  • 7+ experience in sales/business operations role or equivalent
  • Ability to think broadly across multiple business lines
  • Understand data flow and synchronization between systems
  • Knowledge of existing CAI sales processes and systems; experience with and AWS required
  • Experience leading execution focused projects that require specific technical expertise (, AWS, PowerBI)
  • Excellent presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate with all levels of leadership
  • Ability to create executive-level documentation via MS suite
  • Experienced team leader with proven skill in change management and problem solving
