Our software is used by thousands of hospital departments around the world to automatically generate the most optimized physician work schedules to accommodate complex business rules and accurately schedule the appropriate medical provider based on their skill level, specialty, availability, and preferences.

As a Senior BI Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing QGenda’s business intelligence solutions which are used by thousands of healthcare organizations across the world. You will work closely with our Product, Development, and Leadership Teams to architect end-to-end solutions across our Credentialing, Workforce, and Capacity product lines.  You will translate the requirements into logical data models, design ETL, and create GoodData dashboards.  You’ll serve as an expert on the GoodData platform and train other team members on best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product and Leadership Teams to develop the roadmap and feature requirements for our Insights analytics product
  • Design and implement BI solutions and analytic applications for accessing and analyzing data
  • Develop SQL queries to performantly retrieve raw data from operational data sources
  • Design and manage transform layers and data warehouse models for intelligence reporting
  • Guide QGenda’s Customer Success team in developing dashboard reports

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience modeling and implementing various business intelligence solutions (e.g., GoodData, Looker, Tableau)
  • 2+ years of experience working with GoodData specifically
  • 5+ years of experience and advanced knowledge in SQL querying, optimization, and data modeling
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL tools and Data Warehousing best practices
  • Experience with cloud-based SaaS solutions, especially utilizing AWS technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree specializing in computing, engineering, mathematics, or related field
  • Understanding of Agile development processes
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and upbeat personality

Education / Professional Certifications or Licenses Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent industry experience
