Concepts NREC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team. The Quality Technician will be responsible for using various hand gages (e.g., drop gage, micrometers, calipers, etc.) to measure parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards. The technician will also be responsible for accurately recording measurements, completing quality plans, and reporting any non-conformances or deviations to the quality team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise measurements using a variety of hand gages, including drop gages, micrometers, calipers, and other specialized tools.
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards and customer requirements.
- Record measurement data and complete quality documentation, including quality plans and inspection reports.
- Identify and report any non-conformances, deviations, or defects.
- Collaborate with the quality team and production to address and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain and calibrate measurement tools and equipment as needed to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Quality Technician, Inspector, or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in using hand gages such as drop gages, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100) and experience in filling out quality documentation.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination for precise measurements.
Basic Qualifications
