Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Execute and write both manual and automated tests and identify actionable bugs
  • Create clearly written defect reports; collaborate with engineers on bug fixing and
  • Trace complex build problems, release issues and environment issues in a multi-component environment
  • Perform various testing approaches including white-box, black-box, load testing, mobile testing, functional testing, regression testing and integration testing
  • Establish metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and lead regular quality
  • Drive progress towards a model of continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Improve product delivery cycles through integration of testing into the agile delivery
  • Plan/organize necessary test runs, stay on top of all important issues, help triage bugs and drive issues to
  • Provide status reports to management and project stakeholders
  • Ensure internal documentation is complete, accurate and up-to-date, including documenting testing procedures consistently throughout the development process

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to construct test cases and get them prioritized based on
  • Knowledge of test and tool development
  • Experience building automated API and UI tests
  • Communication skills, including development of
  • Experience in regulated industry preferred
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum software development approaches preferred
  • Must comply with and pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent background checks, drug screenings and vaccine requirements as required by customer contracts
  • Must comply with company vaccination policy
  • Ability to follow Data Innovations’ policies and procedures

Education and/or Experience

  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field or a combination of education and related working experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired and at least 2 years Quality Assurance experience in testing software applications.

 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding, and computer use.

 

Supervision Level

This person reports directly to the Director of Software Quality Assurance.
