The Program Manager focus is to organize, manage and mature programs into commercially ready stage.  This position’s primary responsibilities include activities like successful creating of project plans, managing project deliverables, managing stake holder expectations, and communicating statuses of multiple projects.  The program manager works with other Data Innovations teams to direct product and service delivery projects.  The program manager is expected to work independently, needing little direct supervision. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manages new product development and launch projects governed by Product Management
  • Orchestrate and coordinate a cross functional team comprised of Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, Service and Consulting teams to bring new solutions and ongoing enhancements to market in line with customer needs
  • Responsible for leading the project team through the Product Evolution Process
  • Responsible for all areas of project management, focusing on schedule, cost, performance, management of resources, risks, communication and process improvement.
  • Develops a high-level milestone plan for the program and manages program change in accordance with the change management plan
  • Executes program plans (quality, risk, communication, staffing, etc.) and communicates program status and data to maintain accurate and current program information for the use of stakeholders
  • Serves as a representative of the Project Management Office (PMO) in working directly with PMOs in other company-wide initiatives
  • Establishes and maintains program stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications, both internal and external, to the organization
  • Development of the Program specific plans, program monitoring dashboards and tracking metrics
  • Identification of the development areas, training efforts and training schedule to mitigate post launch impact on the business
  • Act as a change advisor to business teams and coach the extended teams on all readiness and launch templates
  • Collaborate with global teams to achieve project objectives
  • Works with the Product Manager to ensure the program aligns to the marketing strategy and commercial model to ensure successful product uptake. Fully responsible for all program related activities

 Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5+ years’ experience in program or project management
  • Highly organized individual with ability to manage multiple work streams, set clear priorities and make supported decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast, complex, global environment
  • Capability to build credibility with leaders and program stakeholders
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Meets deadlines and communicates effectively and proactively
  • Demonstrated aptitude for leading people across multiple disciplines without direct authority
  • Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written) including presentation skills
  • Satisfy travel requirements (up to 20% of travel required)
  • Ability to follow DI’s policies and procedures and system usage practices
  • Must comply with Company vaccination policy
  • Not eligible for hire in Colorado

 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and at least 5 years of experience OR a combination of education and related working experience form which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.

 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of telephone communication, keyboarding, and computer.

In addition to the above requirements, the ideal employee/candidate will have experience with the following:

  • MBA
  • Healthcare software development
  • Project Management Professional certified

 

Supervision Level

This person reports directly to the VP of Product Management.
