The Production Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager at Mamava. This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive benefits and time off.

This position will assist the Plant Manager in personnel management and day to day operations of the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage mid size production team.

• Assist with the hiring process and onboarding of new employees.

• Oversee training for new employees.

• Assess team members’ competencies and skill gaps. Facilitate cross training.

• Lead performance evaluation process and compensation reviews.

• Oversee timekeeping and timecard approval for employees. Assist with scheduling

• Point of contact for employee relations issues.

• Assist with inventory management.

• Oversee quality control for materials and products.

• Generating continuous process improvement.

• Assist with budgeting.

• Serve as a safety committee member.

• Assist with task delegation.

• Participates in leadership efforts.

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ production management or senior supervisory experience with heavy employee management in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodology.

• Familiarity with manufacturing safety protocols.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Google Drive, Google Docs).

• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (ie. Fishbowl or similar)

• Mechanical aptitude required. Moderate machine maintenance required.

• Able to use hand and air tools. Occasional use of forklifts, hoists, and other tools used in assembly. Experience with CNC preferred.

• Advanced problem solving skills.

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports.

• Ability to effectively present information to management.
