The University of Vermont
Independently maintain and process employee personnel data within the PeopleSoft system at the University of Vermont to ensure proper timekeeping and that processing standards, deadlines and compliance standards are met for a timely and accurate payroll. Perform payroll-specific records maintenance (changes in wage/salary rates, deductions, new hires, terminations, leaves of absences, etc.) Perform customer service interactions with campus community related to the PeopleSoft HCM system. Work collaboratively as part of the payroll and tax services team.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate’s degree and one to three years related experience with centralized automated computer systems, working knowledge spreadsheets and other software applications used to support office functions, and familiarity with Internet resources required. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members to obtain sufficient information to provide appropriate assistance required. Demonstrated ability to serve as effective team member on collaborative projects required.

Effective analytical, organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-driven environment desirable.
