Responsibilities

• Craft high quality technical solutions built to last years
• Investigate and resolve gnarly technical problems
• Design and build sites and applications composed primarily of Laravel code
• Research, vet, and apply emerging technologies and best practices

What kinds of problems are we solving? Some of our current projects include:

• Redeveloping a staff and volunteer Portal for a nationally-recognized nonprofit
• Overhauling a complex in-app messaging system
• Creating and expanding features for a company-owned tool that helps other companies solve DNS issues
• Scaling a package booking flow for a successful sport tour booking company

Qualifications

Strong candidates will have:

• A year or more of professional/academic software-development experience
• Proficiency in Laravel or similar PHP frameworks
• Experience with MySQL or similar RDBMS
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
• Working knowledge of source control systems including Git
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs
• Experience with quality assurance best practices
