The Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology Department at Vermont Technical College invites applications for Spring 2023 (January 17, 2023-May 12, 2023).
The course to be taught is MEC 4721 Manufacturing Capstone Project
This is a required capstone course for the Manufacturing Engineering Technology program that provides an opportunity to apply a combination of skills and knowledge to solve an industrial or real-world manufacturing problem. The student works in a group to tackle an integrated, technical problem presented by regional industry and approved by program faculty. Topics include manufacturing materials and processes, design, quality, lean manufacturing, and automation.
1 Hour of Lecture-4 Hours of Lab per week
Candidates may and are encouraged to apply to multiple Part Time opportunities but may not be considered for more than 9 credit hours per semester, per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.

Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with several years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree. Teaching experience is preferred.
