The School of STEM, Department of Engineering Technology at Vermont State University (Vermont Technical College) invites applications for Fall 2023 (August 21, 2021 – December 15, 2023).

The course to be taught is MEC 1070 – Tool Geometry & Productive Metal Cutting, the course will be taught at GSP, Brattleboro.

This course is offered through the Center for Workforce & Professional Education of Vermont State University.

This course presents the theory and practical applications of modern cutting-tool technology and equips the student to recognize and define the various geometries associated with cutting tools and how they relate to the material and manufacturing process.

1 hour of lecture  and 3 hours of lab per week

Minimum Qualifications: 
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and significant industry experience.  A master’s degree is preferred.   Teaching experience preferred.

Salary: 
Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
