We’re searching for a driven individual who can help us streamline daily operations, maintain project portfolio data, develop business critical reporting and dashboards, and support the administration of our Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool. By managing and refining key performance indicators (KPIs), you will ensure that our project management operations align with the company’s strategic goals, thereby enhancing efficiency and driving success. This position demands a high level of precision and dedication, as you will provide the insights and support necessary to steer project management and professional services practices towards optimal performance.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Leadership team in planning, organizing, analyzing and coordinating functions relating to the operation of the TPS business.
  • Review/Maintain project portfolio data to ensure high data integrity and compliance with departmental data management guidelines/requirements.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, uncover insights, and evaluate the effectiveness of project management processes. Deliver general operational support (document management, etc.).
  • Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements in any aspects relating to increased efficiency and performance.
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize statistical tools and methodologies to analyze current operations and forecast future performance.
  • Design and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to track projects and operational metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting business trends, process improvements, and the impact of changes implemented.
  • Advise management on findings and the various courses of action they can take to address operational challenges.
  • Provide administration of PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools, ensuring data accuracy and optimizing for operational efficiency.
  • Maintain communication with TPS Leadership, team members, and vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points.
  • Analyze data of in-place procedures to find ways to improve operational processes. Compare processes with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project management and other cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with TPS leadership and the sales and engineering teams to improve cost-effectiveness
  • Participate in the development and revision of operating procedures and documentation. Maintain policy and procedure documents.
  • Facilitate training and workshops to drive adoption of new processes and tools across the team.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, order forms, etc.
  • Coordinates with neighboring departments to achieve improved communications, knowledge sharing, and optimal work production across the organzation.
  • Identify ways to improve team member and customer experiences.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3 years experience in data analytics.
  • 3 years experience in operations and/or project management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with excellent initiative and follow-through.
  • Professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good social and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and process multiple items.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must comply with and pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent background checks, drug screenings and vaccine requirements as required by customer contracts

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field OR a combination of education and related working experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.


Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding, and computer use. This position may also have travel requirements to customer sites; must be able to tolerate conditions associated with traveling and working in a laboratory setting.


Preferred skills and experience:

In addition to the above requirements, the ideal employee/candidate will have experience with the following:

  • One or more years of experience in an Analyst or similar role.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and/or methodologies
  • Basic understanding of professional services and associated KPIs


Supervision Level

This person reports directly to the Director of Implementation Operations. This person is responsible for providing support and contributions to the work of the Project Management Operations team.
