If you are an innovative, analytical, and digital marketing enthusiast who is capable of more than “just your average SEM job,” this role could be for you. Your day involves the implementation of a variety of Digital Marketing practices including paid search advertising, display advertising, remarketing, custom content creation, search engine optimization, and social media management. Our ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn and thrive in an agile environment.


Search Engine Marketing:

  • Develop Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Campaigns to drive relevant traffic to appropriate pages on
  • Conduct quarterly Brand Review meetings with the Engineering Sales team to review product line performance
  • Maintain and monitor ROAS bids, impression share, conversions, quality score, and other important account metrics
  • Monitor and analyze account performance in search, display, remarketing, and video campaigns
  • Research and develop keyword sets for each new product
  • Write and design compelling text and image ads

Search Engine Optimization:

  • Work closely with E-Commerce Team and Engineering Teams to enhance product landing pages via keyword optimization
  • Identify and implement strategies for increasing relevant organic site traffic
  • Create custom content for via blog posts and application notes

Social Media:

  • Contribute to building the Instrumart brand through managing Instrumart’s social media profiles on Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, and Youtube
  • Create, plan, coordinate, and execute Instrumart’s social media strategy
  • Develop a social media calendar, gathering and creating custom content for daily posts via a platform tool like


  1. Solid understanding of performance marketing and online customer acquisition
  2. Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
  3. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle competing priorities
  4. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  5. Strong written communication skills
  6. Exceptional quantitative skills and aptitude including advanced Excel skills
  7. High levels of self-motivation and personal initiative


  1. 2-5 years experience in SEM and SEO strategies
  2. Experience with Google Adwords and Google Analytics
  3. Proficiency in managing moderate to large-scale Google Advertising accounts
  4. Proficiency in MS Excel


  1. Google Adwords certification (Search, Display, Video, and/or Shopping)
  2. Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internally developed tracking and reporting tools
  3. Knowledge of Moz Research Tools, Google Shopping/Merchant Center, Facebook & Linked In for Business
  4. Experience working in an open office environment
