Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lead a team responsible for key components of the quote to cash process including processing and fulfilling orders, creating and revising quotes, capturing support and subscription renewals, analyzing sales metrics, and maintaining the Salesforce database for the Data Innovations’ Sales department.
Duties include:
- Manage performance of direct reports, including but not limited to performance management and task assignments, coaching and mentorship

- Prepare support and subscription renewal notifications, letters and quotes for all necessary customers particularly for the company’s business partners
- Work directly with management to set departmental goals; take leadership and ownership of goals to achieve desired results

- Exercise discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes, and techniques in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with other departments in the successful development and maintenance of cross team services, functions, and improvements
- Own, maintain and refine processes for reviewing, reporting and evaluating the health of the business pipeline, including key metrics
- Maintain healthy relationships with the company’s key external business partners
- Partner with FP&A to develop and maintain renewal forecasting model leveraging historical patterns of install base while incorporating any known go-forward changes. Consistently inform business of realistic renewal targets, predictive renewal rates/churn, and translation to revenue aligned to renewal dates
- Manage the evaluation and interpretation of sales data to identify trends and convert insights into actionable sales processes and tactics to improve sales operations
- Develop and execute thoughtful, analytically backed strategies and optimization initiatives to deliver growth goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in the use of Salesforce
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and SharePoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve problems independently
- Proven record of driving growth
- Strong sense of urgency with a demonstrated record of meeting commitments
- <10% travel required for internal business meetings
- Ability to follow DI’s policies and procedures
- Must comply with and pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent background checks, drug screenings and vaccine requirements as required by customer contracts.
- Must comply with company vaccination policy
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 4 years of relevant working experience in Revenue Operations OR at least 7 years relevant working experience in Revenue Operations
- 4+ years of team leadership experience
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of telephone communication, keyboarding, and computer.
Preferred skills and experience:
In addition to the above requirements, the ideal employee/candidate will have experience with the following:
- Sales forecasting
- Sales analytics
- Experience in customer facing roles
- Experience in the use of NetSuite or similar ERP solution
- SaaS experience, including negotiating renewals
Supervision Level
This person reports directly to the Director of Commercial Operations and has the responsibility for leading and mentoring a team.
