Provide business process analysis and programming support to Student Financial Services of the University of Vermont to aid in the delivery of all Financial Aid, Accounts Receivable and Student Billing functions for the university. Provide training and support for all SFS staff members for new and existing technology and collaborate with other administrative offices. Design and implement software solutions for a dynamic, high volume environment.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree with business and/or computer science background; outstanding verbal and written communication skills; very strong organizational capabilities; previous employment in a higher education setting; experience in Financial Aid or Student Billing preferred; strong working knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases; experience with PL/SQL, HTML, SAS or other statistical software, Groovy script, Javascript within a Linux environment.

Other Information

Special Conditions     Overtime required, Weekend work required, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees
