Instructional Design and E-Learning Specialist

VIP is seeking an Instructional Design and E-Learning Specialist to create and maintain a wide variety of training materials for the beverage industry.  This position will focus heavily on e-learning and will be the main point of contact for this role at VIP.  This person will work closely with another instructional designer to help bring their ideas to life!  Some instructional design skills, such as project management and interviewing SMEs, (subject matter experts), will be necessary for many of the projects.  The ideal candidate must have impeccable writing skills, the ability to learn new technologies, excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating interactive learning!  This is a full time position with the ability to work a hybrid, flexible schedule at manager’s discretion.



  • Gather information and course elements from internal departments, SMEs, customers, research data, and other sources.
  • Develop and design learning material, coordinate, and review educational content, and incorporate current technology in developing specific e-learning curricula.
  • Support the deployment of learning programs including uploading and updating courseware and curricula, training assignments, learner notification text and rules in LMS.
  • Utilize knowledge of LMS capabilities to recommend delivery strategies that yield a rich, meaningful, and dynamic end-user experience.
  • Utilize LMS reporting capabilities to develop custom reports that assist with planning and managing the company’s training and development initiatives.
  • Work with UI/UX team and programmers to support e-learning content requirements.
  • Run demos of the LMS system and provide training to individuals and users groups.
  • Ensure that participants are registered for education and training events.
  • Lend expertise in the technical aspects of e-learning to internal departments, as requested.
  • Facilitate live and recorded learning, particularly with our orientation program.

Desired Skills / Experience:

  • Experience with any Learning Management System (LMS) as a developer or administrator
  • Experience working in an educational environment
  • Image editing
  • Experience with HTML and audio and video editing software preferred
  • Experience in the beverage industry is a plus!

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject or 2+ years experience in training, adult education, and/or multimedia training materials development
