Do you believe design runs deeper than the superficial look of a product? Can you balance form, function and manufacturability to build truly exceptional products that continue to set the standard others want to beat? If so, we want to hear from you.

As OnLogic strives to become the world’s First Choice in Industrial Computing, the Industrial Designer will play an integral role in shaping our product line, and bringing it to life. Based in our South Burlington, Vermont headquarters, you will be responsible for driving the success of the product design by collaborating with our Product Managers, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and Regulatory Specialists to transform a specifications document into a physical product that meets the needs of innovators around the world.

On an average day, you’ll…

Create, discuss, and pitch product concepts through a variety of media with internal teams and external stakeholders – participate in design reviews throughout product developments and customizations.

Mock up and test concepts or prototypes in CAD software, pushing the boundaries of our current paradigm and exploring new and original ideas for what our products could be.

Work closely with Engineering team members to understand and marry function with aesthetics in product development design work – elevate product features into value drivers for customers.

Design and experiment with packaging concepts to improve customer out of box experience, as well as hunt for industry-leading efficiencies.

Align with Production and Manufacturing teams to hone OnLogic’s ‘Design For Manufacturing’ and ‘Design For Assembly’ practices. Why limit stand-out design thought to just our customers?

Engage with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams to not only know our customers and their needs, but explore how to get ahead of and define the future of our key markets.

Play with next generation and groundbreaking technologies to constantly push yourself, the team, and the company as a whole forward.

The team you will be joining:
