Front End Web Application Developer/Engineer

THINKMD is looking for an experienced Front End UI/UX Web Application Developer to join our growing team. We’re developing new digital mHealth technology via a simple to use, configurable progressive web application (PWA) and clinical API currently being used by a multitude of end-users around the globe. We´re developing technology and services that are disruptive and are being pushed to a variety of markets, with unique challenges in developing the UI/UX experience for our end-users, so creativity, problem-solving and passion are critical.

THINKMD’s SaaS product is delivered as a multilingual, offline first, PWA based on Javascript, HTML, and CSS. As part of our product development team, you’ll work alongside our software engineers, clinicians, data scientists and project managers to craft digital health interfaces that will impact lives around the world.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to identify and learn new platforms that can enhance the capability and

quality of our technology.

• Work independently as a full-stack web developer, part of a small SaaS team

• Design and architect new product functionality and modules with team members

• Experience in setting up and administering scalable data offerings

• Apply state-of-the-art UX practices

• Advise on matters of software architecture and engineering

• Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as test automation

and simplification

• Strong SQL and NoSQL experience

• Facilitate database design, management and administration

• Manage health data and web-enabled APIs integration


● 2+ years JavaScript development experience

● Experience with Node/Vue/Vuetify/NoSq l/Git

● Experience with Firebase, CouchDB, Amazon Alexa or other NoSQL databases and tools

● Experience designing APIs and applications from concept to testing

● Strong understanding of UI/UX

● Excellent creative thinking and communication skills

● Ability to problem solve, as somebody who welcomes failure as learning process


• Experience with Heroku/Webpack/Feathers/Postgres/Nightwatch

• Experience with i18n language internationalization and localization

• Experience with Tableau, and automation of data streams/dashboards

• Experience with health data APIs, FHIR

• Experience with Google cloud-based systems, in particular their FHIR cloud-based

healthcare API-platform
