This position is for a fabrication process engineer with experience in cross disciplinary skills. If you have worked with busses such as I2C and MIPI, have experience in designing and writing device control code in C and C++, if you have ability to use tools such as an oscilloscope and a logic analyzer to debug prototype hardware and enjoy learning how to use new chips and custom protocols, CMC wants to talk to you!

QUALIFICATIONS
Desired skills and experience:

Embedded software in C or C++ or an RTOS such as VxWorks or RTEMS.

Multithreaded applications including testing and debugging in C++/C on Linux or Unix environments.

One or more assembly languages a plus

Familiarity with interfacing electronics (busses, bus loading, GPIO, tristate ports, I2C, SPI, USB)

Programming microcontrollers (Atmega, STM32, Raspberry Pi, TINI)

Debugging prototype hardware. Comfortable with logic analyzer, oscilloscope, bus analyzers

Working with customers to develop product requirements

Working with cross-disciplinary teams to specify and deliver products.
Requirements:

Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical people

Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a small team
