Posting Summary
Serve as a financial and budget analyst/advisor in Finance and Facilities Administration primarily serving the units within Facilities Management: Physical Plant, Custodial Services, Transportation and Parking Services, Planning Design and Construction, and Office of Sustainability. Provide leadership, strategy, and comprehensive analysis on large scale departmental budgets, across all fund types. Develop financial reports and procedures and ensure accuracy of data. Interpret and communicate complex policy and processes with administrative senior leaders, departments and committees including, but not limited to, Human Resource Services, the Administrative Business Service Center, the Controller, and Financial Analysis and Budgeting. Ensure senior leaders have the information and analysis needed to make complex financial decisions and comply with university policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, economics, statistics or related field and two to four years of applicable experience in administrative analysis required. Ability to apply professional knowledge and expertise from disciplines of energy management, and business operation & maintenance using innovative approaches and techniques to solve complex problems. Ability to use oral and written communication skills to collaborate and effectively communicate complex data analysis information. Proficient business and financial skills utilizing complex software analytical tools and effective organization skills required. Ability to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to workplace diversity, sustainability and delivering exceptional value and great experience to customers.
