Job Responsibilities:
- Performing logical separation of financial data and transactions between MGS and Marvell parent company to conform to commitments to the DCSA.
- Regular reporting of the financial performance of the business, along with forecast variance explanations to the BU leaders.
- Develop detailed financial forecasts of Revenue/Margin and Opex spend incorporating trends, strategic insights and business information.
- Perform adhoc financial analysis as directed by management and provide data driven insights that help influence decision making.
- Meet time-sensitive reporting guidelines set by MGS and parent FP&A team
- Enable day-to-day business support by reviewing/approving purchase requisitions and resource allocations.
- Evaluate new product costs and investments by calculating IRR, NPV and Payback metrics.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Arts or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience.
Master’s degree and/or PhD, in Business, Science, Arts or related fields with 2-3 years of experience.
Ability to obtain a PCL (Personal Clearance Level) is required. Existing PCL is a plus.
The individual will provide strong business partnership to the business unit leaders by gathering financial data, performing financial analysis, and supporting business activity & decision making. The individual will also frequently interact and collaborate with other cross functional Finance/Reporting teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, highly analytical, and detail-oriented with strong financial modeling skills
- Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Experience with Hyperion Applications & ERP preferred
