Posting Summary            

Support a dynamic and varied group of designated customer units of the Administrative Business Service Center (ABSC) that have higher levels of sensitivity and/or transactional needs. Support customer units with financial and budget, and human resources transactions including but not limited to processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and processing employee actions/changes. Use judgement and comprehensive knowledge of University policies and processes to serve as liaison between customer units and University central offices and to ensure compliance with University policies and regulatory provisions.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)        

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, Human Resources or related field and one to three years of related experience required. Demonstrated commitment to customer service required. Effective communication and team-collaboration skills required. Proficient in spreadsheet, database and word-processing applications. Attention to detail and effective organizational skills required. Ability to effectively perform duties within deadline-driven environment, with frequently changing customer demands, required.

Desirable Qualifications              

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software highly desirable. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and PeopleAdmin desirable.
