Your Role

The Facilities Utility Technician serves as additional support the maintenance team and a variety of functions across several departments at the discretion of the Facilities and Equipment manager. Task direction may be project and/or product flow based.     

Responsibilites Include: 

  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on building equipment; fixtures, furniture, and environmental systems
  • Perform janitorial duties as needed
  • Inventory, stock, and re-stock facility supplies
  • Maintain and organize warehouse and storage areas
  • Receive and distribute incoming freight and prepare outgoing freight including coordination with pick up
  • Transport materials to and from storage
  • Utilize the computerized building management system to monitor status of facility equipment and systems
  • Assist with vendor coordination for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other outsourced maintenance support
  • Support manufacturing departments and tasks as needed
