As a member of the Engineering Team at OnLogic your role will be to work with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and external manufacturers to solve logistical problems in order to release new and improved products into volume production. By harnessing your excellent business sense and strong organizational mindset you’ll drive engineering change and help coordinate product launches. Your role will be critical to upholding a high bar for product quality and excellence of delivery.

On an average day, you’ll…

  • Manage the engineering change process, and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate engineering change requests, orders, and notifications.
  • Create change orders and evaluate change notifications from suppliers to assist Sustaining Engineering efforts on multiple projects.
  • Engage directly with manufacturers and vendors to inform and support your work.
  • Join the Material Review Board to craft, evaluate, and approve implementation plans for product changes and notifications.
  • Work with Product Development teams to help coordinate build schedules and facilitate activities.
  • Help facilitate organization of, and reporting on, Engineering data and metrics.
  • Facilitate SKU data gathering and preparation for new product setup.
  • Participate in root cause analysis work as well as helping take corrective and preventative actions to improve quality.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure delivery of high quality products.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience supporting engineering groups.
  • Skilled in Google suite of applications and/or Microsoft Office.
  • You may have electrical or mechanical engineering experience, knowledge of computer systems, PC hardware, components and enclosures.
  • You have a keen interest in all aspects of technology and are familiar with following standards and regulations.
