Creative Microsystems Corporation (CMC) develops innovative custom solutions, progressing from idea/problem to products, using unique facilities specifically assembled for the rapid creation and implementation of advanced technologies. We use multi-disciplinary approaches that often result in custom, technologically significant solutions and valuable IP.  A small company with a deep level of expertise across a broad set of disciplines, we identify new technology concepts in-house and produce new solutions to customer defined challenges. We build systems using microprocessors to control cameras, inertial guidance units, and custom hardware including ruggedized, outdoor Augmented Reality display systems.

CMC is actively seeking an Electro-mechanical Engineers with mechanical design skills and a minimum 3-years’ experience in CAD-Solidworks, and training with Finite Element Analysis. Creative MicroSystems encourages applicants to include descriptions of personal projects and efforts that demonstrate these capabilities outside of the workplace as well. A demonstrated aptitude-portfolio is recommended. The position is open to both junior and senior level applicants. If you have ability to use tools such as an oscilloscope and a logic analyzer to debug prototype hardware and enjoy learning how to use new custom protocols, CMC wants to talk to you!


  • Experience with CAD-Solidworks

  • Simple mechanisms experience – design, build and test

  • 3-D printing

  • Dimensioning/tolerances

  • Material selection

  • Small form factor electronics housings – design, build and test

  • Manufacturing techniques

  • Hands on – machine shop tools, fine motor skills for small parts and fine assembly, maker/builder


  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical people

  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a small team

  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States. (We do not sponsor employment visas)
