The Digital Advertising Manager plays an integral role in the growth of our company, with a focus on driving the strategy of our digital advertising program alongside the Director of Marketing. We aim to find, reach, grow, and drive as many qualified customers to Instrumart as possible. This role is responsible for managing multiple Google advertising accounts with million-dollar+ budgets to increase business revenue and maximize our return on investment.

Primary Responsibilities

Search Engine Marketing:

  • Provide strategic account recommendations and optimizations to continue to grow revenue and optimize advertising investment
  • Monitor and analyze account performance in search, display, remarketing, and video campaigns
  • Develop performance reports to track and analyze website analytics and paid advertising campaigns’ effectiveness
  • Manage campaign budgets to ensure proper spending levels daily and monthly across all accounts
  • Learn and enhance existing account strategies by testing new Google technologies as it become available on the Ad platform
  • Maintain and monitor ROAS bids, impression share, conversions, quality score, and other important account metrics
  • Develop new campaigns to drive relevant traffic to appropriate pages on
  • Conduct quarterly Brand Review meetings with the Engineering Sales team to review product line performance
  • Measure and report on performance efforts using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
  • Collaborate with Google account management team to adopt Google best practices and account enhancements

Search Engine Optimization:

  • Work closely with the E-Commerce and Engineering Teams to enhance product landing pages via keyword optimization
  • Identify and implement strategies for increasing relevant organic site traffic
  • Create custom content for via blog posts and application notes

Additional KSA’s: 

  • Lead, coach, and exemplify team best practices
  • Research, test, and deploy Google Advertising best practices
  • Develop A/B tests and lead new project implementation
  • Manage and enhance weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting
  • Assistant in onboarding new employees by providing on-the-job training and shadowing
  • Provide continued mentorship to existing team members

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5-10 years of experience with Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and Google Merchant Center, including prior experience with Adwords and Analytics certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience in managing and optimizing moderate to large-scale Google Advertising accounts
  • Proficient in search engine algorithms and advertising bidding strategies, including automated bidding and machine learning
  • Exceptional quantitative skills and aptitude, including advanced Excel skills and other reporting tools like Google Data Studio
  • High levels of self-motivation and personal initiative
  • Strong and prompt communication skills to ensure seamless coordination among team members and stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle competing priorities
