Who You Are

 

The Data Solutions Team Leader will help evolve our data analytics offering, lead and manage the data solutions team and the data solutions strategic process and transformation efforts across the company and with our Partners. The primary focus of this role is to evaluate, identify, initiate, and lead all data related initiatives within the company across our clinical and business needs. This role requires superior interpersonal skills to effectively work with stakeholders across and at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate must have advanced analytical skills and be process and solution-oriented. They must also have an innate passion for human-brand interaction and value creation.

 

This individual will be part of the executive team and must establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, partners and customers displaying a willingness to understand diverse points of view, learn and apply new initiatives across an evolving global health landscape and other unique care settings. Key leadership expectations include:

  • Implementing communication & reporting efforts across various departments to appropriately manage the servicing of accounts and create an effective customer experience.

  • Motivating and coaching team members to adhere to professional standards to address and respond to customer needs, concerns and issues.

  • Fostering and maintaining effective relationships with peers.

  • Collaborating with other leaders to drive the strategy for major initiatives.

  • Constantly innovating and driving efficiency with Lean processes.

Your Day-to-Day


  • Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships internally and with our partners as required.

  • Proactively lead solution development efforts that best address partner needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. 

  • Drive commercialization efforts for advanced clinical insights and population health level offerings.

  • Support internal customers such as Business Development, Customer Success and Finance in developing dashboards and data views to help achieve company goals.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by establishing and maintaining a high performing team where new ideas and solutions are encouraged, evaluated, quantified and implemented.

  • Work closely with leaders across product, sales, and marketing to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics.

  • Represent the Analytics team in various internal and external meetings to either present project work or provide analytical advice. 

  • Manage and prioritize overall data-analytical needs and opportunities both clinically and operationally.

  • Facilitate joint brainstorming and team collaboration to develop product enhancements and meet internal and external stakeholder requests.

  • Develop and grow team through adding capacity as necessary and training and skill development of current team members.

  • Establish reusable patterns for scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale analyses, model development, validation, and implementation

  • Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines that adhere to ETL principles and business goals

  • Key contributor in the evaluation, implementation and deployment of emerging tools & processes

  • Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

  • Set day-to-day operational objectives for team

  • Focus on tactical and operational plans, policy and strategy implementation, with short-to long-term focus

 

 

Requirements

What you need to have:
  • A four-year college degree in a relevant field although a Masters is preferred.  

  • Prior experience managing teams across multiple or remote locations to drive corporate initiatives and client success a must.

  • Significant experience in an analytical role in the healthcare industry. Client management experience strongly desired. 

  • Demonstrates professional knowledge of business acumen, including but not limited to specific knowledge about our industry, regional and Global health and healthcare trends. 

  • Prior experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. Experience working with and creating data architectures

  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications

  • Functional skill set with BI tools and market offerings i.e. Tableau.

  • Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills, internally and externally focused. 

  • Willingness to travel as required.  

  • Multitasking while maintaining attention to detail; work in a highly organized and efficient manner.

  • High level of reliability, dedication and initiative.
