VIP & GP Analytics are seeking a Data Analyst to become an integral part of our team!  GP Analytics works with brewery clients in the beverage alcohol industry to provide business insights that maximize their profits through quality analytics and communication.  Our Data Analysts manage the flow of data from our database, to a forecasting platform and into our web-based application.  Data Analysts will investigate data reporting issues, manage forecasting models using client feedback, contribute to the development of workflows as we continue to scale, and ensure that data reflects properly in the application.  Our Data Analysts work directly with customers, which requires strong communication skills and business acumen to help drive client success.

We are a fast-growing company with a quickly expanding user base and we are seeking an individual to grow with us!  Our Data Analysts are not in the weeds of analysis every hour of the day.  They will clean, format, sort, arrange, present, and most importantly, explain data with a story that can articulate complex findings to drive action within our clients’ businesses.  This position extends beyond a traditional data analyst role, combining client success, customer service, process analysis, beverage industry expertise, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze internal and external data through quantitative research
  • Communicate findings to clients through standard and ad hoc reports
  • Promote best practices in data analysis and reporting
  • Analyze businesses to drive value from our software and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Solve low and mid-level customer service requests
  • Ongoing client and user training in our software tool
  • Assist with new client implementation and training

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, and more)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong public speaking skills and ability to lead meetings
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Economics preferred
  • SQL knowledge is a plus!
